AMC includes Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC FPGA

Compliant to AMC.1, AMC.2, AMC.3 and AMC.4, the AMC575 is a double advanced mezzanine card (AMC) from VadaTech. It features the Xilinx XCZU29DR RFSoC and has an on-board, re-configurable FPGA which interfaces directly to the AMC FCLKA, TCLKA-D. The module has dual bank of 64-bit wide DDR-4 memory with error code correction (ECC) for a total of 16Gbytes. This allows for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host, advises VadaTech.

The RFSoC device includes 16 ADC (12-bit at 2Gsamples per second) and 16 DAC (14-bit at 6.4Gsamples per second) with analogue I/O routed to a MicroRTM as per MTCA.4. Clock and trigger I/O are provided.

The front panel also has the interface to the DisplayPort, dual USB, RS-232 ports as well as dual high-density connector for external I/O (total of 128 single ended or 64 differential).

The XCZU29DR includes a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 application processing unit and dual-core Cortex-R5 real-time processing as well as over 4,200 digital signal processors (DSPs), 930k logic cells and over 60Mbyte of internal memory (including 22.5Mbit of UltraRAM).

AMC575 Module also has on board 64Gbyte of flash, 128Mbyte of boot flash and an SD card as an option.
