Antennae are rugged for remote monitoring

Four IP67-rated Yagi antennae increase reliability of M2M wireless remote monitoring in extremely harsh operating environments, says Laird.

Utilities, oil and gas companies are among the applications that use wireless remote monitoring to instantly transmit information and monitor remote terminal units (RTUs) to and from a centralised location.

The design provides internal matching of the antenna connector and coaxial cable, to create the industry’s first, fully compliant IP67 family of YF Series Yagi antennae.

They are available in 450 to 490MHz / 9.1dBi and 12.2dBi gain configurations, in addition to 880 to 960MHz / 8.6 and 12.2dBi configurations. All are available in either gold or fully black anodised corrosion resistant finishes and come standard with an industry leading five-year product warranty.
