Arrow Electronics signs Alorium Technology
FPGA-based embedded computing from Alorium Technology is now available from Arrow Electronics, following the signing of a global distribution agreement between the distributor and the embedded computing company for the IoT and IIoT markets.
Arrow will sell Alorium’s FPGA-based solutions, including the XLR8 development board that enables new levels of performance and programmability for Arduino projects, claims Arrow. It will also stock the Arduino-compatible Snō development board with enhanced processing and application speeds.
Both company offer expert design capabilities and the agreement is expected to help customers quickly and cost-effectively achieve production-ready solutions, including time-sensitive industrial devices.
“Alorium brings new levels of innovation and capabilities based on FPGA technology,” said David West, senior vice president of global marketing and engineering at Arrow. “We are excited to offer Alorium solutions and continue providing a comprehensive product line to our global customer base.”
