Astute Electronics signs distribution agreement with PulseR
Magnetic components from US specialist, PulseR, are available in the UK and Australia, following a distribution agreement between the two partners.
The US-based manufacturer supplies standard and custom components to military, commercial aerospace, manned and unmanned space, high-reliability industrial, medical, transportation and power-grid infrastructure customers around the world.
PulseR produces DSCC-qualified parts listed for MIL-PRF-21038, MIL-83531 and MIL-PRF-83532 applications. It provides design support and qualification testing services including mechanical shock and vibration, real time x-ray, humidity and thermal rise.
PulseR offers a comprehensive variety of signal and power product lines. Noteworthy among these is the Copperhead series transceiver line interface modules. They support a variety of high-speed applications such as IEEE 1394B Firewire, Fibre Channel (over copper), Gigabit Ethernet and digital video (SMPTE-292M, HDTV). They buffer, recondition and isolate a high-speed data line in a high reliability environment at speeds up to 2.125Gbits per second.
The company also offers MIL-STD-1553 transformers, which are designed, built and tested to MIL-PRF-21038, and support all major 1553 transceivers with short stubbed and/or long stubbed communication via MIL-STD1553 data bus. PulseR claims to have the most complete MIL-STD-1553 transformer line available today, with a selection of packages, configurations and product levels.
The company also offers high-frequency balun adapters that are designed for SMPTE-292M applications at 1.485Gbits per second data rate, SMPTE-424M/425 application at 2.97Gbits per second, bench test, 150Ohm Fibre Channel, 100Ohm Gigabit Ethernet. Discrete surface mounting components and modules with connectors are available.
