Cartridge fuse is AEC-Q200-compliant
Suitable for on-board chargers and power distribution units in electric vehicles (EVs), the 828 series of high voltage cartridge fuses has been released by Littelfuse. The fuses are designed and tested to meet the circuit protection needs of compact automotive electronics, said the company.
The robust fuses are AEC-Q200-compliant, providing a high interrupting rating (10KA at 1,000V DC), which is suitable for the on-board chargers and power distribution units in the latest EV designs, said Littelfuse. They are available in through-hole and bolt-down versions, and can be used for either PCB or screw-in assemblies.
The 828 series high voltage cartridge fuses are compact, with dimensions of just 10 x 38mm. The end caps have integrated stand-off leads and bolt-down options to eliminate the need for mounting accessories or lead-forming processes.
Operating temperature range is -55 to +125 degrees C and the fuses are RoHS-compliant, halogen-free and 100 per cent Pb (lead) free.
The 828 series fuse is provided in tray packages for through hole or bolt down mounting. Sample requests can be placed through authorised Littelfuse distributors.
