COM Express modules are based on Intel Core i7
COM Express modules from DFI Tech are based on the latest generation Intel processors. The SU698 COM Express Compact module offers up to 3.4GHz dual core performance (max turbo frequency), dual DDR3L 16Gbyte memory, with support for eight x1 PCIe expansion and other interfaces. They are compliant to COM Express Compact R2.1, Type 6 and offer display interface options of one VGA/DDI, one LVDS/eDP, and one DDI.
The company has also unveiled its low-power COM Express Compact module with an Intel Atom processor X5-E8000 with quad 1.04GHz cores and Intel HD graphics at 5W. The module supports three independent displays, 4K resolution, and targets cost-effective applications, says the company.
The company offers a seven year CPU lifecycle support and system integration capabilities. It also offers COM Express modules in Mini, Compact, Qseven, and Basic formats.
