CUT35 power supply simplifies system integration: TDK Corporation has created the 35W rated CUT35 power supplies that require no minimum loading to maintain tight regulation specifications. Output one is electrically isolated from outputs two and three through the use of a two independent converter topology, enabling the product to also be configured for dual output. According to TDK Lambda, this flexibility makes it suitable for use in a range of process control, broadcast, test and measurement, and industrial equipment applications.
The CUT35 operates from a universal 85 to 265V AC input and is available as two standard models. The CUT35-522 delivers 5.0V ±12V or 5.0 and 24V. The CUT35-5FF can provide 5.0V ±15V or 5.0 30V. It is packaged in the industry standard 2.0 x 4.0inch (50.8 x 101.6mm) footprint, the converters have a low 27mm height.
The convection cooled CUT35 has an ambient temperature range of -20 to +70°C, derating linearly to 70 per cent load from +55 to +70 degree C. Typical efficiencies are between 81 and 82 per cent. Over-voltage and over-current protection is provided as standard and the units are covered by a three-year warranty.
The series carries certification to UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1 and carries the CE mark for the Low Voltage and RoHS2 Directives. All models comply with EN 55011/55022-B conducted and radiated emissions and the EN 61000-4-2 immunity standards.
