element14 offers e-delivery for MatLab and Simulink Student Suite

MatLab and Simulink Student Suite from MathWorks have been added to element14’s software tools available by instant e-delivery. The e-delivery method is available to customers via online, call centres and field sales; engineers can ‘get to work’ instantly, says the development distributor.

MatLab, Simulink and 10 add-on products can be used for applications related to controls, signal analysis, test and measurements. The pack also includes a quick start guide.

Key features are model hierarchical sub-systems with predefined library blocks and the ability to simulate the dynamic behaviour of the system and view results as the simulation runs. Users can view simulation results and debug the simulation.

Simulink has built-in support for prototyping, testing, and running models on Arduino, Lego Mindstorms and Raspberry Pi. MatLab Mobile accesses the software from a mobile device, while student software runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux OS.
