Fischer Elektronik adds RJ45 sockets for industrial applications
Fischer Elektronik has added RJ 45 sockets, targeting applications where industry data has to be transmitted quickly and reliably between machines and peripheral devices.
The company explains that RJ45 connectors are mainly used to transfer data at high speed in industrial environments. Depending on the applied twisted-pair or glass fibre type the data rate is presently between 10Mbits per second and 10,000Mbits per second (10Gbits per second).
For such applications, Fischer Elektronik has included the standardised RJ45 sockets in the portfolio in three versions. Horizontal soldering technology is used in an unshielded version with a black plastic case (RJ45 U), a shielded version with an aluminium case (RJ45 G) and as a shielded version with an aluminium case and two LEDs (RJ45 LED). Depending on the requested quantity, they are available in trays and in tape-and-reel for machine-compatible feeding.
Fischer Elektronik produces mechanical electronic components such as heatsinks, cases and connectors since 1968. Its product range contains devices and complete cooling systems for dissipating semiconductors as well as heatsinks, various connectors for PCBs as well as cases, respectively aluminium cases in different designs.
The range of standard articles consists of over 75,000 items, for example heatsinks, aluminium cases and connectors. Standard items are in stock to ensure short delivery times. Individual items can be produced on request.
The company has premises in Luedenscheid and staff have frequent training and qualifications for personnel development. Teams in the sales and technical department can advise and support customers.
