flowBOOST module uses Vincotech’s IGBT chip technology to boost switching
Claiming to deliver higher performance at lower cost, the Vincotech flowBOOST 1 symmetric module features the latest IGBT chip technology for highest switching frequencies, says the company.
Vincotech launched the flowBOOST 1 symmetric line of modules for power electronics. They are, says the company, engineered to deliver top switching frequencies (up to 50kHz). The modules are able to provide a symmetric boost in 1300V or a buck boost in 650V applications. They also enable to use smaller and even lighter passive power components to decrease the size of systems.
The flowBOOST 1 symmetric modules are equipped with 650V Infineon TrenchStop IGBT5 (H5 and S5) to boost efficiency (minimum 99 per cent) and cut system costs. The modules demonstrate low saturation voltage and support 100 and 150A operation. They are provided in low-inductive 36 x 82mm flow 1 housings. Target applications are to downsize bulky transformers and DC link capacitors in power electronics systems.
Samples are available now.
