FWS-7821 is world’s most compact network appliance, claims Aaeon
Aaeon claims that the FWS-7821 is the world’s most compact, high-performance network appliance. It is designed around a seventh generation (Kaby Lake) Intel Xeon processor and supports up to 64Gbyte DDR4, 5.0 x 2.5inch SSD, or two 40GbE quad small form-factor pluggable (QSFP) transceiver for processing, throughput, and low latency benefits, says Aaeon.
The FWS-7821 has a 1U design and expansive I/O, including eight GbE, two SFP, two PCIe cards (x8), two USB 3, and CFast for configuration and customisation options and seamless integration into new and existing infrastructure deployments.
The FWS-7821 supports a range of configurations and a software development kit (SDK) enables further customisation in addition to real-time telemetry, analytics, and management.
