GradConn expands its Nautilus waterproof coaxial connector range

GradConn expands its Nautilus waterproof coaxial connector range: GradConn’s Nautilus range of IP rated coaxial connectors and cable assemblies receives a new addition to the line-up. The Nautilus N connector provides even greater flexibility for designs requiring coaxial connections in demanding and harsh environments, says GradConn.

The Nautilus range was launched at the end of 2015 and is used in environmentally sealed coaxial connections. The new N connector variant is available in rear mount configuration and shares the same features, including an internal seal and O-ring, which prevents ingress through the inner contact and through the panel, rated to IP67 and IP68. Advantages of the N connector are due to its improved physical properties, say GradConn. Although larger than SMA, TNC and BNC variants, it is also stronger and more suitable for designs where durability is an important consideration.

GradConn works closely with customers and this latest addition to the Nautilus range was developed in responses to increasing demand to enhance the already tough Nautilus range. Andy Hamlin, GradConn sales manager says: “Adding the N Connector to the Nautilus range not only gives our customers more options, it also opens up a bigger market segment we can serve for those looking for reliable, waterproof coaxial connector and cable assemblies.”
