Handheld microwave models expand R&S Spectrum Rider FPH family
Three models have been added to the R&S Spectrum Rider FPH family by Rohde & Schwarz. The additional models provide frequency ranges from 5kHz to 6GHz, 13.6GHz and 26.5GHz.
The R&S Spectrum Rider FPH is believed to have been the industry’s first handheld spectrum analyser to offer a capacitive touchscreen and a frequency upgrade concept via keycodes. Upgrades do not require downtime or recalibration, says the company.
The higher-frequency models enable the rugged microwave models to perform a range of measurement tasks in the field and lab. There is a tool for diverse applications, such as verifying signal transmission over 5G, broadcast, radar and satellite communications links. The analyser supports everyday measurement tasks in aerospace and defence, mobile network testing and broadcasting in the field and in the lab, as well as tasks to be performed by regulatory authorities and tasks in education.
The R&S Spectrum Rider FPH weighs just 2.5 kg and the battery lasts more than six hours.
The analyser can be remotely controlled via USB or LAN, while the R&S MobileView app for iOS and Android provides wireless remote control of the R&S Spectrum Rider FPH from a mobile device.
The R&S Spectrum Rider FPH is available from Rohde & Schwarz and selected distribution partners.
