Innodisk launches M.2 form factor expansion cards for industry
For the industrial embedded sector, Innodisk has released M.2 peripheral expansion cards for quick expansion on existing platforms.
The M.2 form factor is instrumental for the next generation IoT applications as more and more platforms are adopting it as the main port, maintains Innodisk. The M.2 cards for embedded expansions include LAN, display, serial, PoE, RAID, disk array and SATA interface. The industrial grade expansion cards are tested and certified to withstand extreme thermal, electrical and mechanical stress, resistant to shock and vibration and all support wide temperature from −40 to +85 degrees C, as well as hardware and software support.
For space-constrained applications such as small PCs and fanless systems, the M.2 series includes 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors that support both B and M key configurations.
Innodisk provides flash memory, DRAM modules and embedded peripheral products for industrial and enterprise applications. Its customers operate in the embedded, aerospace and defence and cloud storage markets. Innodisk can also provide customisable solutions.
The company is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, and has engineering support and sales teams in mainland China, Europe, Japan, and the United States.
