LED indicators light up factory systems

Claiming to be first to market, with a range of Halo LED illuminated indicators from APEM, RS Components has announced the QH indicators. They can be used in emergency stop buttons, door release systems in public buildings and offices, and in automation systems.

They can mounted as a status indicator for interior and exterior use, and on both new and after market applications installation. They are claimed to mount seamlessly, with a variety of switches, including anti-vandal, pushbutton, rotary and key switches. The series is designed to be versatile and supports cut-outs from 16 to 22mm with a choice of body and lens colours. A high light output is provide by the 12 single and dual coloured hyper-bright LEDs, says the company.

The indicators are sealed to IP67 and operate over -40 to +70 degree C. Supply voltage is 12 to 24V DC.
