Miniature aluminium casings are ergonomic
Claimed to combine modern, ergonomic design, the Tondo casings accommodate circuit boards or non-standard electronic components. Fischer Elektronik has expanded its range of miniature aluminium casings with these miniature aluminium casings. Guide slots inside accommodate standard and non-standard circuit boards in casings of material thicknesses of 1.6 and 1.8mm.
There are four sizes, two surface finishes (natural colour and anodised black) and seven lengths (50, 80, 100, 120, 160, 200, 220mm). According to the company, the special geometry of the casing profiles permits the accommodation of membrane keyboards or front membranes.
Standard colours are turquoise blue, heather violet, ultra-marine blue, carmine red, daffodil yellow, although the (UL94-V0) plastic design strips integrated in the casings can be in other RAL colours to match a corporate design. The casings can also be manufactured in other lengths, with other surfaces and with additional mechanical finishes or prints.
The Tondo miniature casing comes as a self-assembly kit incl. cover panels and assembly materials.
