MMICs target small cells and boosters

Small cells, cellular boosters and other broadband, high performance applications can benefit from the GRF2105 LNA from Guerilla RF.

It offers broadband frequency coverage with a minimal number of external components, says the company. The small 1.5 x 1.5mm DFN-6 package shares a common pinout with other devices from the company.

The amplifier is claimed to have flexible biasing capability which allows for high levels of re-use with efficiency over a range of linearity requirements. Internal matching is to 50Ohms and 700 to 2,700MHz can be covered with a single set of components. Gain is greater than 20.5dB.

The device can be operated over a range of Vdd from 3.0 to 5.0V and Iddq can be controlled independently from Vdd.

Samples and evaluation boards will be available this month.
