NAND flash supports write endurance in TSOP
The family of 24nm flash single-level cell (SLC) memory from Toshiba, now includes a device that offers a capacity of 16Gbit in an industry-standard 48pin TSOP.
The family offers capacity from one to 128Gbit. The new device offers high read/write performance, effective write endurance (using 8bit BCH ECC), and extended temperature operation, says the company. These features make it suitable for commercial and industrial applications.
The NAND flash device is based around four 4Gbit die and operates from a 2.7V to 3.3V power supply. Operating temperature range is from -40 to +85 degree C.
