OKW produces flanged enclosures for sensor electronics
EasyTec sensor enclosures are available from OKW in two plan sizes and two heights. The range of flanged plastic enclosures has been designed for modern sensor electronics. The enclosures can be mounted quickly and easily on poles, pipes or flat surfaces, said the company.
Robust and IP-rated EasyTec enclosures are designed to survive industrial environments, indoors or outdoors. Applications include the IoT the industrial IoT (IIot), sensor systems, security and monitoring, IT, control, environmental, medical and laboratory technology.
The EasyTec design is intended to provide a high degree of stability. Its flat base has a curved recess that makes the enclosure easy to mount on poles. Integrated mounting flanges have holes for panhead screws and apertures for cable ties. The top section is ergonomic, with soft contouring.
Internal screw pillars in the top and base mean each enclosure can accommodate two PCBs. The housings are assembled using tamperproof stainless steel Torx screws, particularly suitable for medical electronics, notes OKW.
EasyTec is available in two plan sizes (80 and 100) and two heights, for a range of four sizes from 101 x 50 x 22mm to 121 x 62 x 31mm. They are moulded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR for indoor and outdoor use. The standard colour is off-white (RAL 9002).
Options and accessories include IP 65 seals, 2.5 x 6.0mm self-tapping screws (for PCBs) and a Torx T8 screwdriver.
Customising options include custom colours, CNC machining, lacquering, printing or laser marking of legends and logos, decor foils, EMC shielding, installation and assembly.
