Power modules has dual gate driver for synchronous step-down applications
Integrating a dual gate driver and two optimized MOSFETs in a 31pin QFN, the AOZ5038QI DrMOS power module is available from Alpha and Omega Semiconductor.
Designed for high end computing and graphic applications, it has been designed to produce a high-power and high-efficiency power stage for synchronous step-down applications.
The AOZ5038QI enables high power density-voltage regulator solutions for CPU and GPU power regulation in notebook PCs, servers, and graphic cards, says the company. The standard 5.0 x 5.0mm QFN package is optimally designed to provide maximum power density and minimise parasitic inductance for minimal EMI signature.
Input ranges from 4.5 to 25V with output current of up to 60A. Switching frequency is up to 2MHz.
