Quad output medical power supply meets medical, industrial/ITE approvals
Quad output power supplies in the GB130Q series from SL Power Electronics approved to both medical and industrial/ITE standards can meet the needs of virtually any application, says the company.
The 130W quad output power supplies are supplied in a 3.0 x 5.0 inch (76 x 127mm) open frame form factor. The screw-less design with no topside heatsink allows for a more automated assembly, says SL Power, increasing system reliability and reducing system costs.
The GB130Q carries dual safety certification complying to both medical (IEC/UL60601-1, 3rd Edition) and industrial/ITE (IEC/UL62368) safety standards within the same unit.
The GB130Q is constructed with long-life electrolytic capacitors and the power supply design ensures that these components are not pushed to their maximum output ratings, adds SL Power. For example, the long-life electrolytic capacitors operate below their threshold and ESR ratings in extending the life of the end equipment and minimising field service needs.
The power supply is also available with a cover, GB130Q-C; both versions have a wide range of output combinations, a 5.0V standby output, remote inhibit via contact closure and power fail/DC OK signal. They meet Class B conduced and radiated EMI with a high degree of margin, says SL Power, which simplifies system design by reducing/eliminating the need for external filtering.
The SL Power Electronics product range extends from 10 to 3,000W internal power supplies as well as a broad range of Level VI Tier 2 6.0 to 240W external power supplies.
