Radial aluminum capacitors operate in high temperatures for automotives
Automotive grade radial aluminum capacitors from Vishay BCcomponents feature high-temperature operation up to +150 degree C and a useful life to 2,000h at +150 degree C to provide high stability and reliability for automotive and industrial applications.
The 160 RLA series is available in 10 case sizes from 10 x 12mm to 18 x 35mm. The AEC-Q200-qualified capacitors offer low impedance down to 23mOhm at 100kHz, a high rated ripple current to 2,000mA at +150 degree C, and a capacitance range from 33 to 3,300 microF over a voltage range of 16 to 50V.
The polarised aluminum electrolytic capacitors with non-solid electrolytes, self-healing dielectrics, and radial leads are specified for smoothing, filtering, and buffering in SMPS and DC/DC power supplies. The RoHS-compliant capacitors feature a cylindrical aluminum case with pressure relief — insulated with a blue PET sleeve — and are charge- and discharge-proof, so there is no peak current limitation.
