Radio interference suppression choke can be used for energy harvesting

Radio interference suppression chokes from Würth Elektronik now include surface mount versions in the WE-RCIS family. The chokes complement Würth’s AEC-Q200 product group of qualified radio interference suppression chokes.

The rod core choke is available in four versions and characterised by a high current carrying capacity and very high saturation power.

The inductance is qualified to AEC-Q200 Grade 1 and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +150 degrees C. In addition to automotive electronics, the WE-RCIS is suitable for integrated DC/DC converters, for low-consumption use and energy harvesting solutions, embedded systems and portable devices. The robust design and the contacts, which provide for a large area solder connection, make the coil suitable for shockproof circuits, adds .

WE-RCIS is now available from stock in any quantity as component belts on reels.
