Relec Electronics extends AC/DC range with Cincon PDF700
The addition of Cincon’s PDF700 series AC/DC modular brick has been announced by Relec Electronics. The AC/DC power converters are suitable for IT, telecomms and industrial applications, which require fanless operation in a limited space.
The PDF700S series is made up of five full brick sized models. Each offers 700W of output power and 12, 24, 28, 48, 56V DC output, derived from a universal, power factor corrected input range of 90 to 264V AC.
All models in the series are full-brick ac-dc converters and in a half-inch tall baseplate-cooled package.
The PDF700S AC/DC converters have a high operating efficiency up to 91.5 per cent, when combined with a baseplate temperature range of -40 to +100 degrees C.
Standard control functions include remote on/off and ± five per cent adjustable output voltages. Protection features including input under voltage lock out (UVLO), output over-current, output over-voltage, over-temperature and continuous short circuit conditions.
The Class I PDF700S series is certified to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 for international use, with operation at altitudes up to 5,000m.
