Relec introduces full brick, fanless AC/DC power modules from Cincon

AC/DC power modules in the CBM101S series by Cincon bring high efficiency and high power density, said Relec Electronics. The power specialist offers the full brick, fanless, single output, AC/DC power modules which have a low profile height of just 17mm (0.67 inch).

The fanless power supplies have continuous short-circuit, over-voltage and over-temperature protection, making them suitable for space-constrained industrial applications, including automation equipment, test & measurement instrumentation, telecomms and network devices.

The full brick AC/DC power supplies have a universal input range from 90 to 264V AC with outputs of 12, 24, 28, 36 or 48V. The 100W AC/DC power supplies are capable of 100W (peak power is 120W for five seconds).

In-rush current is below 8.5A, with a low leakage current of 0.25mA and no-load input power consumption is less than 0/5W. Efficiency is up to 94.5 per cent.

The full brick power supply integrates EMI filters, bulk capacitors and output capacitors. As a result of this level of integration, no external components are required to pass EMI class.  This contributes to the small form factor and reduces the bill of materials.

Ambient temperature range is -40 to +85 degrees C. The modules have an operating altitude of 5,000m.

The CBM101S is UL / CE EN62368-1, EN55032 and CISPR/FCC Class B -approved and certified for Class I operation.

Relec Electronics is a specialist in power conversion and display products, representing leading brand names including Bel Power, Mornsun, Chinfa, Cincon, Premium, Advanced Energy (Artesyn and Excelsys) with key display partners, Digiwise and RockTouch.

For over 40 years, Relec Electronics has worked closely with key suppliers and specialises in a wide range of industry sectors, including automotive, industrial, transportation, instrumentation and defence.

A team of dedicated engineers is ready to support customers throughout the design process.

The company carries stock of all standard modules and accessories for next day delivery.

Relec’s team of specialist advisers can refine an initial specification for a given application to include bespoke features to meet the needs of a particular design or project.
