Richardson RFPD introduces Pergrine’s latest UltraCMOS SPDT RF switch
Distributor, Richardson RFPD, offers and supports with design capabilities, the PE42723 UltraCMOS SPDT RF switch from Peregrine Semiconductor.
The HaRP technology-enhanced, reflective SPDT RF switch is designed for use in cable applications, including DOCSIS 3.0/1 cable modem, set-top box and residential gateway. It delivers high linearity and harmonics performance in the 5.0 to 1,794MHz band, as well as low insertion loss and high isolation performance.
The SPDT switch is manufactured on the company’s UltraCMOS process, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate. It is claimed to offer the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS.
Insertion loss is 0.3dB at 1218MHz and isolation performance is 54dB at 204MHz. ESD performance is 3 kV HBM.
