Right-angled Anglissimo connectors are available from Lemo
LEMO (UK) now offers the Anglissimo range of rotatable right-angled connectors. The name is derived from Italian for “best angle”. Anglissimo offers users the ability to easily configure cable exit angles to suit a variety of application needs.
The versatility of the Anglissimo connectors (pictured) lends itself to applications where precise cable exit angles are required. Typical applications would be where trailing cable or cable routings would present potential snag hazards or assembly problems. Examples would be handheld measuring or test equipment, patient monitoring, audio-video equipment and industrial control systems, says Lemo.
The inherent versatility of Anglissimo minimises system costs through simplified assembly processes. There is also a potential consolidation of connector variants used across any given system.
Anglissimo will also enable assembly technicians to apply best working practices through improved cable management for quality and aesthetic benefits.
The standard Anglissimo range is available in three connector sizes, i.e. 0B, 1B and 2B, with all the normal insert arrangements available.
Lemo also introduced the 2S range of concentric connectors. These rotatable multi-way connectors are specifically designed for down-hole drilling and applications where free rotation of the connector interface is required during installation. The outer shell style of the Concentric has been based on the Lemo S series connector and also displays the Lemo chocolate box design. Connectors are scoop-proof and contacts are recessed to prevent accidental damage. Contacts are specifically designed for hand rotation up to 10,000 cycles.
