RISC-based Mini-ITX motherboard supports triple displays
Claimed to be the world’s first RISC-based Mini-ITX motherboard which drives up to three 1080P displays powered by an NXP i.MX6D/Q Cortex-A9 1.0GHz high performance processor.
The RSB-6410 supports both Linux Yocto and Android OS images. Advantech also provides a board support package (BSP), middleware and corresponding documents and design guides for reference.
The industrial motherboard drives up to three 1080P displays via LVDS, HDMI and VGA, and also supports dual independent displays and audio output.It is based on the standard 170 x 170mm Mini-ITX form factor with abundant connectivity for multiple I/O including six USB 2.0, five COM, 20 GPIOs, one Gigabit Ethernet port and a PCIe slot for extending I/O modules. It supports wireless connectivity, including one M.2 E-key slot for WiFi and BT module, and one Mini-PCIe for 3G/4G modules. Target applications are digital signage, kiosk, ATM/VTM, industrial controllers and IoT device-related applications.
The board supports both Linux Yocto1.7 V3.14 and Android 4.2, and is bundled with an evaluative Android image.
The board support package provides source code examples and tools for testing and evaluation. It also provides sample code for setting up dual and triple independent displays and audio output.
Other features are an onboard DDR3 1066MHz 1Gbyte/2Gbyte memory and 8Gbyte EMMC NAND flash.
