Rutronik offers Intel NUC 13 Pro Mini PCs, kits and boards
Intel’s NUC (Next Unit of Computing) 23 Pro Mini PCs, kits and boards are now available from Rutronik. They are suitable for a range of applications in 24/7 operation, advised the distributor.
The Mini PC is supplied in a proven 4.0 x 4.0 inch form factor and contains up to 14 processor cores (6P and 8E) with a 64Gbyte dual channel DDR4-3200 memory and a maximum speed of 2.5Gbit per second via the Intel i225-LM Ethernet. Selected SKUs (stock keeping units) with Intel vPro Enterprise technology add comprehensive security and stability and hardware-based remote management.
For the first time, Intel guarantees five-year product availability to minimise revalidation needs and rounds out the feature set with the Intel three-year warranty.
The Intel NUC 13 Pro Mini PCs, kits, and boards can be used in a range of automotive, industrial, or medical applications and are available now from Rutronik.
The NUC 13 Pro Mini PCs are powered by Intel Core i7, i5, or i3 processors of the 13th generation. There are also slots for a PCIe x4 Gen4 NVMe SSD and another memory card in the Mini PC. Selected product lines additionally support a third SSD.
The i7 1370P processor also offers, for example, 20 threads, 24Mbyte Intel Smart Cache and 35W TDP (thermal design performance). Furthermore, an Intel Ethernet port enables “exceptionally fast” wired and wireless connections with up to 2.5Gbit per second and Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+)1.
For connecting up to four 4K displays, the Mini PC features two HDMI 2.0b. It also has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB 3.2 ports and one USB 2.0 port. The Intel Iris Xe or Intel UHD graphics cards are claimed to ensure an optimal visual experience.
The Mini PC can be used in edge computing, for example in digital signage, digital kiosk systems and intelligent vending machines. The wired and wireless connectivity makes them suitable for video conferencing. They can be used in multiple environments, for example in autonomous and electric vehicles as well as medical imaging equipment and workstations. They are also suitable in industrial applications in process monitoring and industrial gateways as well as in order picking and quality assurance applications. They can also be used in education equipment, such as smart boards and industrial gateways.
