SPDT switch is ACE-Q100-qualified for automotive applications
Targeted for automotive LTE cellular and general purpose RF applications, the SKYA21003 is a CMOS silicon-on insulator (SOI) single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch released by Skyworks. This next-generation product is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified with guaranteed RF performance across extended temperature limits. It is therefore suitable for use for LTE cellular telematics modems, remote keyless entry devices, infotainment systems, automated toll transponders, garage door openers, GPS/navigation platforms, and other wireless control solutions. The advanced SoI process technology ensures RF performance without compromising ESD, says the company. A wide frequency range (0.1 to 6.0GHz), is capable of supporting popular ISM Bands, 5GHz Wi-Fi, as well as future cellular bands.
The SKYA21003 has high-linearity performance and low insertion loss with an operating temperature range from -40 to +105 degree C, allowing for operation in challenging automotive operating environments. It is available in a compact QFN 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.55mm package.
