Stretch displays from Distec are available from Display Technology
Stretch displays in the Distec Xtra-Line 37-inch monitor series are now available from Display Technology. They offering high brightness and sunlight readability, said the display specialist and are therefore suitable for long-term use in demanding environments such as transport and hospitality applications.
They can be used both in landscape and portrait mode and are available in 700cd/m² and 2500cd/m².
The stretch displays offer a wide viewing angle of 89 degrees from all directions allowing perfect visibility of content even when viewed from the side or in passing. This is particularly important when the monitor is mounted in passageways or even above head height.
The monitors are constructed from durable and robust components including advanced wide temperature liquid crystal which allows the content of the 2500cd/m² monitor to be easily read even in high ambient brightness and direct sunlight.
The Xtra-Line 37-inch monitors are available in two control versions: the IoT version is equipped with a Raspberry Pi with CM3+ and is especially suitable for Industry 4.0 applications. The Video PME version with VGA, DisplayPort, USB remote and HDMI can be controlled as a display via an external image source.
The monitors are suitable for wall mounting and as a built-in monitor for integration in information panels or as a design element. Accessories, such as angle bracket and wall brackets, are also available.
A safety glass and an elegant front bezel are optionally available to protect the monitor. The versions with 2500 cd/m² include a brightness sensor as standard, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the backlight to the ambient brightness. This ensures a glare-free and always optimally readable display of information, added Display Technology.
