Sub-racks can be used in harsh, rail environments
Robust sub-racks in the Future series can be individually configured. They are designed for different shielding concepts and applications in harsh environments such as railway technology, says Polyrack.
The heavy-duty rails are secured with two screws each side and meet the requirements of a vibration-resistant product, for use at the Deutsche Bahn (according to LES-DB) as well as the French railway system (NF-F).
Depending on demands, configurations can be combined with the standard parts of the series. The basic constructions differ in vibration resistance and shielding.
A spring has a groove for insertion in the mounting bracket, while the gasket has a self-adhesive strip in a CuNi coated fabric. There is also a version that meets IEEE 1101.1/IEEE 1101.10, with front extrusions and ejector handle perforation.
Single components can be added to individually configure versions.
The company also certifies the sub-racks with accredited partners, e.g. the TÜV Rheinland.
