TTI agrees distribution deal for Panasonic hybrid capacitors

Now in stock at TTI are Panasonic’s ZK series hybrid capacitors for automotive and industrial applications. The new components can help optimise designs with regards to performance, cost, weight, low leakage current, long life and ESR values.

Hybrid capacitors from Panasonic Automotive and Industrial Systems Europe, combine the advantages of electrolytic capacitors with those of solid Polymer capacitors. Hybrid technology offers low leakage current and long life in combination with low ESR (20Ohm) in smaller case sizes. The new EEH-ZK series (Type V-ZK) capacitors offer high-temperature with an endurance of 4,000 hours at 125°C. The surface- mount conductive polymer components offer a nominal capacitance range of 33microF up to 470microF, a voltage range of 25VDC up to 35VDC, an operating temperature range of -55°C up to 125°C, as well as low ESR and high ripple current of 85 per cent over, lower ESR than Current V-TP. The products are AEC-Q200 compliant, can endure high humidity conditions and are rated at 85°C/85 per cent – 2,000h.

ZK series hybrid capacitors suit a broad spectrum of applications including input/output filtering in power converters and voltage regulators, power and battery decoupling and clock circuitry. Their endurance and low ESR suits also suits them for use in servers, base stations and industrial PCs, yet they are small enough for wireless and Internet of Things’ designs.
