TTI offers automotive-grade MLCC capacitors from Kemet
Now available in Europe through TTI, Kemet’s X7R and C0G automotive-grade, surface mount, multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) undergo strict testing and inspection, making them ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions.
X7R series devices are available in 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812, and 2220 case sizes, with DC voltage ratings of 6.3, 10, 16, 25, 50, 100, 200, and 250V, as well as capacitance offerings ranging from 10pF up to 22μF. Capacitance tolerances are ± five, ±10, and ±20 per cent%. The operating temperature range is from −55 to +125 degree C.
Voltage conditioning and post-electrical testing as per MIL–PRF–55681, destruct five physical analysis (DPA) as per EIA–469, and biased humidity testing (85/85) as per MIL–STD–202 are attributes. Solderability benefits from a pure matte tin-plated termination finish. A SnPb termination finish option is available upon request (five per cent Pb minimum).
C0G series components benefit from extremely low ESR and ESL values, high thermal stability, high ripple current capability and are available in 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 1808, 1812, 1825, 2220, and 2225 case sizes. DC voltage ratings are 10, 16, 25, 50, 100, 200, and 250V. Capacitance offerings range from 0.5pF up to 0.47μF. Capacitance tolerances are ±0.10, ±0.25, ±0.5pF, ± one, ± two, ± five, ±10, and ±20 per cent. The operating temperature range is from −55 to +125 degree C. There is also a pure matte tin-plated termination finish and the SnPb termination finish option as for the X7R devices.
