Two smart touch displays make set-up fast and easy
Two five- and seven inch Powertip Smart UART displays are available from Inelco Hunter. They feature a simple three-wire connection and an interface that can define the graphic layout of the touch screen. According to Inelco Hunter, this makes the set-up easy and very fast, ensuring a rapid time-to-market.
The three-wire connection makes it very simple for engineers to upgrade character-based legacy products with a modern touch display. Equally, new touch display products will benefit from the simple connection and easy-to-use graphic interface set-up, said the company.
The pair is part of Inelco Hunter’s “Totally Embedded” range of services and embedded hardware/software. David Bushnell, sales director, commented “Customers are increasingly looking for complete solutions with a high degree of service wrapped around the product offerings. The new displays are part of a Powertip family of smart touchscreens ranging from three to 10 inches in size. They all feature software to define the display’s graphic touch interface. A range of graphic buttons is provided as standard, with the option for the user to create their own buttons and graphics very quickly.
Among the custom options is the display casing.
Both screens have a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Viewing angle is 80 degrees for the five-inch model and 60 degrees on the seven-inch display.
Inelco Hunter provides engineering support to ensure rapid implementation and to speeding up the customer’s time-to-market.
