Vishay Intertechnology IHLP inductor operates in extreme environments
The Vishay Dale ILP-1616BZ-51 IHLP, low profile, high current inductor is offered in a 1616 case size. The IHLP-1616BZ-51 inductors operate in extreme environments and operating temperatures to +155 degree C. The case size has a low profile of 2.0mm, for commercial and industrial applications in extreme environments.
The IHLP-1616BZ-51 inductors have a frequency range up to 2.0MHz, optimized fr energy storage in DC/DC converters and high current filtering up to the self-resonant frequency (SRF) of the inductor, says Vishay Intertechnology. Applications include notebooks, desktop PCs, and servers, low profile, high current power supplies, power management integrated circuits (PMICs), and point of load (PoL) converters, industrial and telecommunications power systems, and DC/DC converters for distributed power systems and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
The IHLP-1616BZ-51 inductors feature high efficiency with typical direct current resistance (DCR) from 4.0 to 102.0-mill Ohm and a range of inductance values from 0.10 to 4.7-micro-H. The IHLP-1616BZ-51 provides rated current to 19.0A and handles high transient current spikes without saturation, says Vishay.
The inductors are packaged in a 100 per cent lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction with a custom iron alloy that reduces buzz noise, claims Vishay. The IHLP-1616BZ-51 inductors offer high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock. They are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
Samples and production quantities of the IHLP-1616BZ-51 inductors are available now, with lead times of 10 weeks for large orders.
Vishay Intertechnology is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors (diodes, MOSFETs, and infra red opto-electronics) and passive electronic components (resistors, inductors, and capacitors). Components are used in electronic devices and equipment, in the industrial, computing, automotive, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, power supplies, and medical markets.
