4k digital signage player is powered by AMD Ryzen processors
The DS-082 is a powerful yet slim 4k digital signage player for four displays that is available from Advantech. The 4k signage system operates across multiple displays powered by AMD Ryzen V1000/R1000 processors and integrated with AMD VEGA Graphics.
The DS-082 has a slim profile of just 19mm with fanless and cable-free design that allows for easy installation behind the displays and also saves space. It can simultaneously drive four or three UHD(4k)/FHD(1080p) displays via HDMI for smooth content flows across digital menu boards, self-ordering systems, retail applications, queuing systems and multi-media kiosks.
It also has a small footprint of just 180 x 190mm and is designed to be fanless and cableless for system reliability and ease of maintenance. For secure installation mounting, the DS-082 has a bracket that supports wall mount, VESA, and DIN-rail mounting.
The DS-082 is integrated with both WISE-PaaS/SignageCMS multimedia content management software and WISE-PaaS/DeviceOn remote device management software for easy signage network management. WISE-PaaS/SignageCMS allows users to easily edit content layout, schedule, and dispatch programs. A scheduling function is also available to allow real-time information and advertising campaign management.
WISE-PaaS/DeviceOn IoT device management software monitors signage devices in real-time, make maintenance easier, and reduces the need for on-site support. It also provides a McAfee white list security function to ensure on-screen content is secured while Acronis tools recover essential data and make backups. As a result, claims Advantech, DS-082 helps simplify digital signage network management while reducing total cost of ownership and time-to-market.
