Fanless touch panel computer controls machinery
A rugged 15.6-inch industrial multi-touch panel PC for industrial and retail applications is equipped with the latest low power quad-core Intel Pentium processor N3710 (codename: Braswell).
The fanless GOT315WL-845 has a 15.6-inch WXGA TFT widescreen LCD with a projected capacitive touchscreen and 400 nits brightness. It is capable of displaying contents in HD resolution (1366 x 768), making it suitable for human machine interface (HMI), infotainment and self-service kiosk use. Using the projected capacitive multi-touch screen, users can directly operate the device. The touch panel PC has an IP65-rated front bezel and an IPX1-compliant chassis for protection from water and dust ingress. The surface hardness of 7H offers resistance to scratches and abrasion, adds the company.
Operating temperature range is 0 to +50 degree C. The slim industrial panel PC has I/O ports and proprietary expansion slots allowing customisation for specific needs. The GOT315WL-845 is suitable for transportation, heavy-duty industry, factory automation and retail.
The storage interfaces include one 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drive (HDD) and one mSATA. Additionally, the GOT315WL-845 provides various I/O connectors including one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI output port, one audio port (line-out) and two Gigabit LAN ports. There are also built-in speakers and an easily accessible external AT/ATX mode switch. The 15.6-inch panel system also provides two PCI Express Mini Card slots and optional WALN antennae for wireless network connectivity. By plugging in the wireless LAN card, users can operate the rugged panel unit to transfer data into wireless LAN/GPRS/GPS/4G environments. The touch panel PC can be mounted on a panel mount, VESA mount, desktop stand or wall mount.
