RS Components introduces Siemens DIN rail power supplies
The SITOP PSU6200 series of space-saving DIN rail power supplies from Siemens is now available from RS Components.
Suitable for industrial applications and distributed power applications in machine control boxes or in small cabinets, the single-phase SITOP PSU6200 power supplies are slim, space-saving supplies. They have plug-in terminals for ease of connection and exhibit low power loss across the entire load range, especially in idle mode. This, says RS, makes them suitable for automated machines in plants that are often in standby operation.
The SITOP PSU6200 DIN rail power supplies have wide-ranging DC-compatible input voltages from 85 to 275V AC or 99 to 275V DC. They deliver output DC voltages from 12 to 15.5V at 2.0, 7.0, 12, or 24 to 28V at 1.3, 2.5, 3.7, 5.0, 10 or 20A, depending on the model.
Diagnostic capabilities are integrated to enable the units to indicate their operating status and current use, as well as to signal end-of-service life via LEDs. They also output a serial code via the diagnostics interface, which can be read via a digital input on a PLC and evaluated by a function block. Status and operating parameter information includes DC ok, utilisation percentage levels, remaining service-life warning – for a value below 10 per cent, output current and voltage to 1.0 and 0.1V resolutions, respectively and device temperature warnings.
