Yamaichi Electronics extends Y-Circ with PCB mount sockets
Yamaichi Electronics continues to extend its Y-Circ P product portfolio. The company has introduced two vertical PCB-mount socket variants. The WG type can be selectively equipped with external threads for fixing to a housing wall and the connector type WH is free-standing. Both are screwed to the PCB to absorb the forces generated through push-in and pull-out.
According to Yamaichi, the sockets are shorter than competitive products. A nut can optionally be installed for the same installation dimensions for the WG model. This allows greater flexibility in the use of the available installation space, says Yamaichi, and may increase stability.
These new connectors are available with various pin assignments in assorted sizes. The company’s online configurator can be used to ensure the correct type number is selected. Samples are also delivered for testing the new design in development work.
Yamaichi Electronics specialises in test and burn-in sockets, connectors and connection systems. It manufactures high-quality, reliable components for demanding applications in semiconductor, industrial automation, automotive, data networking, measurement and testing, medical, mobile computing and embedded computing markets.
