10-port Ethernet switch is certified to EN 50155 and EN 45545-2
For railway applications, the TEN710MW and TEN710UW Layer 2 managed/unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches from Axiomtek has been certified to EN 50155 and EN 45545-2 standards.
The TEN710UW unmanaged switch is intended for high-bandwidth applications, while the TEN710MW managed switch provides high-bandwidth capabilities and security enhancements, such as Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), quality of service (QoS), Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), network control and other security features. The smart switches come with eight M12 D-Coded 10/100 Mbps PoE ports, two M12 X-Coded 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports with bypass and one M12 A-coded RS-232 console port. The TEN710MW and TEN710UW are designed for stability and scalability in passenger information system, security surveillance, transportation IoT and diagnosis management.
To reduce the installation space and effort, these intelligent Ethernet switch provide up to eight IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant PoE with 150W total power budget for onboard devices including wireless devices, IP cameras, and IP phones without extra power wiring requirements. It is compact for a range of surveillance applications.
The TEN710MW and TEN710UW are supplied in an IP54-rated enclosure and with M12 connectors for protection against dust and water and operation in harsh conditions. They can operate under a wide temperature range from -40 to +75 degrees C to ensure constant and robust connections.
The TEN710MW and TEN710UW are supplied with redundant dual inputs that support a wide voltage input range from 24 to 48V DC or 72 to 110V DC. The switches also provide smart per-port power management, including enable/disable, priority setting, overloading protection, power delivery (PD) active check, PoE scheduling, PD classification and power feeding detecting capacity on PD.
