ABS enclosures have integral slots for PCBs
Multi-purpose ABS enclosures from BCL Enclosures have lids and integral slots for PCBs.
The MB series from the specialist UK manufacturer, is designed to be flexible and customisable to suit multiple applications. All models in the range, except one, have internal PCB slots (ribs) to retain PCBs securely.
There are eight models available. The MB1 measures 79 x 61 x 40mm, the MB2 measures 100 x 76 x 41mm and the MB3 is 118 x 98 x 45mm. These three models have a nominal wall thickness of 1.5mm. There is also the MB4 which measures 216 x 130 x 85mm, with a nominal wall thickness of 4.0mm, the MB5 is 150 x 100 x 60mm with a nominal wall thickness of 2.5mm. All these models feature slots for retaining multiple PCBs. The MB6 is larger, 220 x 150 x 64mm, with a nominal wall thickness of 3mm, with no internal ribs. Completing the series are the MB7 (177 x 120 x 83mm) and MB8 (150 x 80 x 50mm). These two enclosures have nominal wall thickness of 2.5mm.
The lids are held securely with M3.5 countersunk screws into brass inserts. The enclosures can be punched or drilled to suit individual applications.
The enclosures are available in black, white or light grey as standard, and all except MB4, MB6 and MB7 have a polished finish; the others are matt. The MB series can also be ordered in other RAL colours on request.
