Rutronik UK adds first MOSFET relay with T-type circuit from Omron
Believed to be the first MOSFET relay series with a T-type circuit structure, Omron’s G3VM series is fast, efficient, small in size, says Rutronik UK. The distributor has added the durable MOSFET relay module to its line card.
The company offers hundreds of different models to help system designers and manufacturers meet a wide variety of test equipment.
The Omron G3VM-21MT features a T-type circuit structure that makes it possible to run the leakage current in a solid state relay towards zero (maximum 1pA), improving the reliability of the test equipment. In addition, integrating the long life MOSFET relays reduces downtime for maintenance.
The series also includes the extremely small VSON package G3VM61UR1 with low output capacitance and low forward resistance. The relay module has a high temperature tolerance from -40 to +110°C. It is mainly used in semiconductor test and measurement technology, communication technology and data storage.
Another model available from Rutronik UK is the G3VM351VY in an SOP4-pin package. It has stable operation at a load voltage of 350V, a continuous load current of 110mA and the dielectric strength up to 3.75kV. These characteristics make it suitable for use in industrial and safety applications as well as for power circuits and battery-powered (entertainment) devices. The insulation distance is only 5mm to save space.
Rutronik UK is an independent company with a team of qualified UK employees. Its parent company, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente, is the third largest distributor in Europe and number 11 worldwide, reports the company.
The broadline distributor supplies semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components as well as boards, storage, displays and wireless products. The company‘s primary target markets are the automotive, medical, industrial, home appliance, energy and lighting industries. The ranges Rutronik Embedded, Rutronik Smart, Rutronik Power and Rutronik Automotive provide customers with specific products and services in groups tailored to the respective applications.
The company offers technical support for product development and design-in, individual logistics and supply chain management.
