New Yorker adds dual N-channel 6A/20V MOSFET from Good-Ark Semi

ESD protection is integrated into the SSF2418E MOSFET which is now available from New Yorker Electronics. It is designed for Lithium-ion battery (LIB) charging and discharging switches.

According to the distributor, the MOSFET provides a low gate charge and high repetitive avalanche rating.

Its use of trench technologies and process techniques are claimed to achieve excellent RDS(ON), low gate charge and a high repetitive avalanche rating.

ESD protection is up to 2kV, and the halogen-free device is suitable for use as a unidirectional or bidirectional load switch, facilitated by its common drain configuration. For use in DC/DC conversion, load switching and battery protection, it has high energy efficiency, fast switch speed and low input and output leakage.

The Good-Ark Semiconductor SSF2418E 6A/20V dual N-channel MOSFET with ESD protection is supplied in an SOT-23-6L or TSSOP-8 package.

Operating temperature range is up to 150 degrees C.

Good-Ark manufactures diodes, rectifiers and bridge rectifiers. It is certified to ISO9001: 2008 for quality, ISO/TS16949 for automotive, ISO14001 (environment), QC080000, OHSAS18001 and ISO/IEC27001 for information/security.

New Yorker is a franchise distributor of Good-Ark Semiconductor and supplies its full line of semiconductor diodes, rectifiers, bridge rectifiers, protection devices (TVS, chip fuse and thermistor) and MOSFETs (small signal and power MOSFETs supported by trench technology) in through-hole to surface mount devices as well as wafer/bare die for hybrid applications.

New Yorker Electronics is headquartered in Northvale, New Jersey, USA. It is a global franchised distributor of electronic components, value-added services and supply chain products to the world’s leading OEMs and contract manufacturers in the commercial, industrial, and aerospace/defence markets. Founded in 1948, the AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 certified company offers customer support while providing direct franchise access to an extensive ready-to-ship inventory of passive, interconnect, electromechanical and mil-spec components, as well as semiconductor devices.
