EBV Elektronik and SG Micro sign distribution agreement
EBV Elektronik has signed a distribution agreement for the EMEA region with chip developer, SG Micro. The Chinese chip developer has a portfolio of analogue ICs.
SG Micro specialises in analogue semiconductors designed for use in a broad range of applications across wireless communication, consumer, medical and industrial markets.
SG Micro has developed more than 3,500 analogue products and its product portfolio includes precision signal conditioning devices and energy efficient power management ICs (PMICs). Specific devices include op amps, drivers, analogue switches, low dropout (LDO) regulators, lithium battery chargers, microprocessor supervisors and DC/DC converters, high performance ADCs and DACs and voltage regulators.
“We are very pleased to partner with EBV in the EMEA region. EBV has a dedicated sales network in over 60 locations, with a strong emphasis on analogue as well as experience in extensive applications,” says Leo Liu, global sales vice president at SG Micro.
For Thomas Staudinger, president at EBV Elektronik, the signing is a welcome addition to its analogue portfolio. “SG Micro has more than proved itself as a fast-emerging company and a future silicon leader by offering a rich combination of innovation, quality, and product availability,” he adds.
