Two mini PCs have noise cancellation technology for voice communications
Two mini PCs by Asus, the ExpertCenter PN64 and PN52 combine aesthetics with computing power and can be used in a range of commercial and business uses, said the company.
The ExpertCenter PN64 mini PC and ExpertCenter PN52 mini PC have a pair of mini PCs that offer amazing combinations of performance and aesthetics, including a ribbed chassis with bevelled edges. They have a compact layout and thermal design for stability for the Intel and AMD processors. Both PCs measure 120 x 130 x 58mm and can support up to four displays. The MyASUS software includes two-way AI [artificial intelligence] noise cancellation for clear voice communications, smart fan controls and system diagnostics. The integrated AI-powered noise-cancellation technology includes both input and output noise cancellation and makes communication clear in educational, office or small office / home office (SOHO) settings.
The ExpertCenter PN64 Mini PC is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor and DDR5-4800 RAM. It features one PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD slot, five USB ports, including a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4, to attach one display, and dual HMDI ports that support up to four displays. There is also one configurable port for efficient working scenarios. Asus said the 12th Gen Intel Core CPU delivers up to two times faster performance than the previous generation. Another technology addition is DDR5 memory, which provides considerably faster data speeds compared to DDR4 and gives users greater performance and more efficient productivity.
The ExpertCenter PN52 Mini PC is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000H series mobile processor with integrated AMD Radeon graphics. It features two PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 2280 SSD slots and one 6Gbit per second SATA connector for a 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD. It also features dual HDMI ports and seven USB ports, including a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports DisplayPort 1.4.
Compared to the previous generation PN51, PN52 offers up to a 27 per uplift in single-thread performance and up to a 19 per cent increase in multi-threading performance.
Both PCs have a new thermal module with a special heat pipe which allows for better heat dissipation, and an aluminium heatsink enables more efficient conductivity, explained Asus. Smart fan control technology enables users to tailor fan modes to suit their requirements via an interface. There are Quiet and Standard modes mode delivers low-noise performance and Standard mode is ideal to support sustained peak performance during data processing.
There is also support for quad 4K or one 8K display. Both models feature 4K quad-display and 8K support via dual standard HDMI ports, DisplayPort via a USB‑C port, and via the configurable port. This support makes the PC suitable for multi-display applications in stores, restaurants, hotels or video walls in public spaces. In offices, it makes it easy to extend workspaces. The rear Type-C port supports Power Delivery input, so users can power up the PC via a Power Delivery-compatible monitor, which makes it possible to simplify a workspace by eliminating a power cable.
