Bourns adds Class aR model to its POWrFuse Family
Fuse links specifically designed to meet UL 248-13 standard for high power, high interrupting and high current rating applications expand Bourns’ POWeFuse family.
The PF-F and PF-M series are high power rating industrial fuse links specially designed to meet the UL 248-13 semiconductor (aR) standard. They help protect sensitive power semiconductor devices against overcurrent events in a variety of power inverters, converters, rectifiers, AC/DC drives, UPS systems and reduced voltage motor starters.
The Bourns POWrFuse PF-F series features 800V AC / V DC voltage, power ratings from 50 to 400A and up to a 100kA at 800V AC and 50kA at 800V DC interrupting rating. The POWrFuse PF-M series provides 240V AC / 150V DC voltage, power ratings from 50 to 180A and up to a 160kA at 240V AC and 50kA at 150V DC interrupting rating.
Both of these high-power fuse series are bolt mounted, to protect from under fault current, low resistance and power loss. Operating temperature range is -55 to +125 degrees C.
Both series are UL-recognised to help save qualification time.
Both the PF-F and PF-M are available now. They are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
