Exxelia elevates range of gelled tantalum capacitors with reliability level R
Tantalum capacitors for MIL-PRF-39006/22 and MIL-PRF-39006/25 specifications by Exxelia are now offered with reliability level R, in addition to level M and P. These are equivalent to CLR79 and CLR81 series inductance limits, said the company.
The sealed capacitors are available in all package sizes (T1 to T4) and cover a voltage range of 6.0 to 125V with capacitance from 1.7 to 1200 microF. Operating temperature range is -55 to +125 degrees C, to withstand harsh environmental conditions. According to Exxelia, they offer higher energy density, higher ripple currents, lower ESR and lower DC leakage current, compared to solid tantalum capacitors. The new tantalum capacitors also provide shock and vibration resistance in the option H model available from the company.
The tantalum capacitors for MIL-PRF-39006/22 and MIL-PRF-39006/25 level R are now available for order with a lead time of 14 weeks. Engineers can integrate them into power supplies and converters or filtering units for projects in the aerospace and defence industries.
