Farnell ships R&S MXO 4 series oscilloscopes to accelerate insights
Recently introduced to the market, the R&S MXO 4 series oscilloscope by Rohde & Schwarz delivers a number of industry firsts, claimed Farnell, including what is claimed to be the fastest real-time update rate. The MXO 4 series oscilloscope is available from the distributor, Farnell.
The real-time update rate is more than 4.5 million acquisitions per second. This rate enables development engineers to see more signal detail and infrequent events than any other oscilloscope, said Farnell. The result is that engineers will be able to understand better the physical layer signals and benefit from faster testing.
The integrated, industry leading 12-bit ADC in the R&S MXO 4 series has 16 times the resolution of traditional 8-bit oscilloscopes at all sample rates without any trade-offs, providing precise measurements. A standard acquisition memory of 400Mpoints on all four channels gives the instrument up to 100 times the standard memory of comparable instruments. The MXO 4 series also features a 200Gbits per second processing ASIC. This, said Farnell is a notable breakthrough for accelerated signal insights.
The R&S MXO 4 series oscilloscope features a 13.3 inch full-HD capacitive touchscreen and an intuitive user interface. The instrument’s small footprint, low audible noise, VESA mounting and rackmount kit make it easy to install in a multitude of engineering workspaces.
It also boasts an 18-bit architecture, a fast trigger rearm time of 21ns, newer digital triggering technology and sensitive trigger of 1/10 000 div. It is claimed to have best in class trigger jitter of less than 1 ps and is claimed to be the first oscilloscope with dual-path protocol analysis.
The R&S MXO 4 oscilloscope series is available from stock at Farnell in EMEA, Newark in North America and element14 in APAC.
