Peraso’s Perspectus wireless network modules are available from Richardson RFPD
Modules for mmWave fixed wireless access (FWA) by Peraso make up the Perspectus family. The 60GHz modules have enhanced software to provide efficient 802.11ad/ay, high capacity operation for FWA networks in the unlicensed spectrum.
The Perspectus modules are the latest addition to
Richardson RFPD’s linecard. The specialist distributor is an Arrow Electronics company, and also provides full design support capabilities for the Perspectus family.
The modules have three distinct phased array antenna configurations offering different gain and coverage. The Peraso Directional Beam Scan and Connect (DBSC) technology is used to establish long range point-to-point and point-to-multi-point links.
They feature automatic rate adaption, dynamic beamforming and automatic calibration and have a USB 3.0 digital interface for data and control, together with a 2.5V CMOS 1PPS synchronisation option and general purpose I/O.
The PRM2141X-V-EGS (16 element), PRM2142X-V-EGS (32-element) and PRM2143X-V-EGS (64-element) compact modules have a single 5.0V power supply input.
The modules operate in the unlicensed 57 to 71GHz band.
